Professional Development, Networking & Peer Support,

the journey to discovering who you are, what your good at, and how to be successful.

Professional development looks at both the practitioners responsibility to themselves and to their clients.

It includes the importance of personal self care to ensure that you are not pouring from an empty cup.

It includes the significance of ongoing training, to keep your knowledge and approach up to date and at the best standard possible.

It also includes the role of structured peer support as a vital way of ensuring both practitioner and client are professionally protected, it enables a practitioner to work through everyday work stresses in a professional and ethical setting while maintaining client confidentiality.

My job is to support people, who support people.
